That 1 Guy

Well.. I know asking for similar music to that one guy, is just like asking for similar books to house of leaves. In fact, the first time I read house of leaves, I wanted more, I wanted as much as I could of this amazing thing I had discovered. But there was only so much. The same thing with That One Guy. Something so incredible, yet so unique. I own TMID and PAW (I don't really like TITKB much, I've listened to it on lala some), and I don't know where else to go. (And yeah, I'm also an avid buckethead fan, but he's something entirely different.)

have you heared Les Claypool's solo stuff or his fearless flying frog brigade. different than T1G, but equally eclectic and out there. Face it, T1G is one of a kind. period. Also check out Clayools burning bucket o brains. good stuff. I like Les.
Well...
If you're up for something truly strange (and a little dirty) pick up Diarrhea of a Madman.
LOL will do that. As a bassist in an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band it should be fun for me...
Wow, I just got House of Leaves last week and since I've gotten it, I keep hearing about it all over the place. weird. Oh, and as for strange bands, I can't really think of any that are like T1G, but The Residents is one of my favorite bands and they're way out there. Perhaps worth a listen.
I would try out Mr. Bungle if you really want to go out there. Maybe some Muse while your at it.
Mr. Bungle RULES!!!

Bottleneck Review from Lawrence

Thanks for coming out David!  Full review can be found here.

"Utilizing every style under the sun, from Heavy Metal, to lounge room Jazz, That 1 Guy loops his own rhythms, beats, melodies and harmonies, piecing together remarkable songs in the most interesting, off-beat chords. Exploring trail-blazing experimental music that's still…
